The fact that, as a pro subscriber, I get $5 each month basically saves me money on API costs while giving me access to some really cool features. But not to oversell it: I still have a $20 subscription to Anthropic's Claude.ai because of Perplexity's significantly lower context window.
I tried Perplexity Pro and Copilot Pro but I still prefer ChatGPT Plus. It's simple and gives me the exact answers that I need for my work (mostly programming related).
17 thg 7, 2023 · With perplexity pro, you can enable gpt4 to be always on. You can also choose the writing focus. So In the default settings perplexity is much better at information lookup. If you want to do anything generative then you just change the mode and it's exactly the same as chatgpt. So in my experience perplexity just ends up being strictly superior.
